Hello, my name is Selina Shiels and I am a healer. I have reached Reiki practitioner level, working towards master/teacher level. I am also experimenting with dowsing and other methods of energy healing, trying to find what fits best for me. I first learned of my healing ability from the site coordinator, Alan and although it took me awhile I now except that it is my life purpose is to heal. I have learned two very important things on my journey. The first and most important is that no one can achieve there full potential on there own. I have had help from many people on my path, not least of all Alan and I would not have gotten this far with that help, so don’t be afraid to turn to others to find the answers to can’t find on your own. The second thing I have learned it that, no mater what particular avenue of healing to decide to study one thing is universally important and that’s intent. As long as you intend to give healing for a person highest good, the guardians/guides/angels will help you to deliver it.

I spent my preteens learning how to chase my fear of girls, the fear of

Leave much time for the voices I heard, they strange people standing

By my bed in the middle of the night! Although in my house God was

Known he wasn’t “known” so what do you do with an incorrigible 13yr

Old who hears voices and sees people and just can’t conform?

So all the while I am trying to understand why I am hearing and

seeing things. It never dawned on me I was special or gifted. HMM

go figure. While they forced their idea of God and salvation

down my throat, I began to understand there has to be more than this!

Today The gifts Of sight and healing are a blessing! I am able to see “words”

around a person whether it is online or in person. Healing is something I felt drawn to my entire life the need and desire to heal and nurture has been my life’s design from

a very young age. Empathy is the ability to “feel” the sickness or distress of another

The ability to “send” healing “energy” to another is very rewarding as well.

Developing my gifts is constant battle overcoming doubt and the occasional battle with depression, agoraphobia, guilt, and your run of the mill fights which every family has

To try and distract you from feeling like you are doing anything important that is beneficial to anyone else. You must learn balance and forgiveness and patience to even begin to understand what in the world a spiritualist is even trying to say. Much less understand it and learn it.
